With PyjamaHR, you can integrate your Gmail account with the platform. You can now use your work Gmail account to send & receive emails to candidates in your PyjamaHR mailbox without the inconvenience of switching apps. These emails will automatically reflect in your PyjamaHR mail box as well as in your Gmail inbox.

Integrating Gmail with PyjamaHR

To integrate your Gmail, go to:

Profile→ Settings→ Account Settings → Email

Click on “Connect” next to the Gmail as shown in the below screen, and you will be redirected to Google’s integration screen.

Here Google will ask you to sign in with your preferred email ID. Select your work email and click continue. Once you give permission to Google, it will automatically sync your Gmail with your PyjamaHR mailbox. Now you are all set to send/receive all your emails in PyjamaHR's mailbox.

Note: Please select your work account while integrating.

💡 Note: You can also switch between the email provided by PyjamaHR and your Gmail account as per your preference. You can only use one of these services at a time.


Why am I seeing the error "Failed to connect. Grant access to send email on your behalf."?

If you see the error like below, you might have missed giving all the necessary permissions while integrating your work gmail account.

To avoid this error while integrating, check all the boxes which are asked in the permissions screen like below. You can simply click on "select all" or individually check all the boxes. Once you give permissions, your integration will be completed.
