If you have created a job on PyjamaHR and aren't receiving any candidates even after 24 hours of publishing the job, follow these steps.

Optimize your Job Description for maximum reach

The job post should clearly state the title, responsibilities, qualifications, and job type (such as full-time or part-time), as well as information about the employer, including physical address or contact details, a valid website, and a valid email associated with the company domain. The role should be clearly defined, with no ambiguous job responsibilities or qualifications.


Add the skills field, listing any benefits or special perks, flex time, or stock options in the job description field, and use a job description template to get started. Use between 500-600 words in your job description to create a high-performing job post. Use the company’s email domain when posting the job to gain more trust with applicants and to avoid asking for personal information upfront in the application. Check if the job is actually published

Once a job is created it gets published on various free job boards and on your company's LinkedIn page within 24 hours. If you are not receiving any candidates, there are chances that the job is actually not published on various job portals.

To verify this, Go to the Job Card -> Click on "Publish Job"

You will see this popup:

In case the job is not published yet, you will get the "Publish" option against the job portals similar to the screenshot above.

However, if your Job has been successfully published, you will see the "Unpublish" button instead.

Import them from various other portals
