With PyjamaHR’s smart schedule interview feature, you can schedule interviews between your candidates, interviewers, & hiring managers and sync these events directly with your calendar in one go. You can either share a fixed time slot with the candidate or allow the candidate to choose a slot from the interviewer's availability.
Scheduling Interview
To schedule interview, open the job candidate and click on Schedule interview as shown below
Title
The title of the interview is what is shown on the calendar for both candidates and interviews. You can choose to use the default title or quickly edit it as per your requirement.
Interview type
Through PyjamaHR, you can schedule in-person interviews, telephonic interviews, or use one of the integrated platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams as per your need. We also provide custom interview types to give you the flexibility to share other interview methods.
Note: To use Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom, you must first integrate your respective account with PyjamaHR.
Once you select the interview type, set the interview duration.
You get to choose between scheduling an interview with a fixed slot or giving the users the flexibility to choose a slot from the interviewer's availability.
Schedule interview with a Fixed time slot
To send a fixed interview slot, select the interviewer(s), date, and time at which you want to conduct the interview.
Sharing availability with the candidate (Self-schedule)
To share the available time slots with the candidate, select "Let candidates pick a slot" option while scheduling the interview
Select the interviewer and the date range in which you want the candidate to pick the slot. The slots will be evenly divided based on the selected interview duration.
The system will automatically take the availability as per the interviewer's PyjamaHR calendar settings.
If you choose to make changes to the availability, click on configure availability and do the necessary changes.
Once you configure the interviewer's availability, click on "Share Availability" to share the available interview slots with the candidate(s)
You can use the self-schedule flow to share interview slots with multiple candidates in a go. To do that, select the candidates you want to share the interview slots with from the job pipeline page and click on "Schedule interview" as shown below
You can view all scheduled interviews for yourself and your team members by clicking on the calendar icon in the navigation bar and accessing the Interviews tab.
