Free Trial Period
Upon signing up for PyjamaHR, every company is granted a 7-day free trial period. This period allows you to explore and utilise the full range of features offered by PyjamaHR without any charges. We encourage you to make the most of this trial to see how PyjamaHR can meet your recruitment needs.
Subscription Plans
After the free trial period, to continue using PyjamaHR, you'll need to subscribe to our platform. Our billing model is based on a per-paid-user basis.
Billable users
Users with the following access types are considered billable users:
Super admin
Admin
Recruiter
Hiring manager
Adding or Reducing Seats Mid-Cycle
Organisations grow and change, so you can add or reduce seats at any time.
All seats are on the Premium plan and are billed immediately at a prorated rate.

Key points
Only empty seats can be scheduled for reduction.
Seats in the pending-removal pool are not billable. If you change your mind and re-assign one of those seats during the same cycle, no additional charge is applied. (You’ve simply cancelled its pending removal.)
If you add seats beyond the number already paid for, normal prorated charges apply.
Guest users remain free and never consume—or freeze—a seat.
Example scenario
Cycle start – You have 10 seats.
Day 10 – Two seats are unused, so you schedule a reduction to 8 seats.
Those 2 seats enter the pending-removal pool.
Day 20 – A new hire needs a seat, so you re-assign one of the pending seats.
No charge—its pending removal is simply cancelled.
You now have 9 active seats and 1 seat still pending removal.
Renewal day – The subscription renews for 9 seats.
The single seat still pending removal is dropped automatically.
Manage seats any time in Settings → Team Members -> Manage seats: add new seats, schedule reductions, or cancel pending reductions instantly.
Subscription renewal
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
Payment Failures: If an automatic payment attempt fails, our system will retry the payment three times over a five-day period.
During these retries, you can also complete the payment manually via the Subscription Management page.
Access Suspension: Failure to resolve the payment within five days will result in a temporary suspension of access for all users in your company. Access will be restored as soon as the outstanding payment is made.
⚠️ Note: If your credit card requires 3D Secure or similar authentication, automatic payments may fail by default. In such cases, you must complete the payment manually through the Subscription Management page.

How do I update my billing information?
Billing information can be updated via the Subscription Management page within your PyjamaHR account settings.
What happens if we exceed the 5-day grace period for payment?
Access to PyjamaHR will be temporarily blocked for all users from your company. Access will be restored immediately after the outstanding payment is made.
Will the guest users be billed?
No. We do not charge guest users. They will only be billed when their access type is changed from guest user to one of the billable access types, i.e., super admin, admin, recruiter, or hiring manager.
