The Talent Pool is a feature of PyjamaHR, which allows recruiters to save and manage potential candidates for future job openings. It is a powerful tool that can help recruiters to source, engage and hire the best candidates quickly and efficiently. In this article, we will discuss the Talent Pool feature of PyjamaHR and how it can be used to improve the recruitment process.

What is the Talent Pool?

The Talent Pool is a repository of potential candidates who have shown interest in working for your company or candidates you want to reach out to in the future. These candidates can be sourced through various channels like job postings, referrals, etc. Once sourced, their profiles can be saved in the Talent Pool for further reference.

How to Manage the Talent Pool?

Once candidates are added to the Talent Pool, recruiters can manage them effectively using various tools provided by PyjamaHR. Here are some of the common tools:

  1. Search and filter: Recruiters can search and filter candidates in the Talent Pool based on various criteria like skills, experience, location, etc. This can help to quickly identify suitable candidates for a job opening.

  2. Segmentation: Recruiters can segment the Talent Pool based on various criteria like job roles, skill sets, experience levels, etc. This can help to quickly identify suitable candidates for a job opening.

  3. Moving candidates to the relevant Job: You can easily mass export candidates from any particular folder to any job that you want to hire for.

Benefits of Using the Talent Pool:

Here are some of the benefits of using the Talent Pool:

  1. Faster recruitment: The Talent Pool can help to speed up the recruitment process by providing a pool of potential candidates who have already shown interest in working for the company.

  2. Improved quality of hire: The Talent Pool can help to improve the quality of hire by providing a pool of potential candidates who have already been screened and evaluated.

  3. Cost-effective: The Talent Pool can help to reduce the cost of recruitment by providing a pool of potential candidates who can be sourced through various channels without paying for job postings. Maintaining and using a database of candidates instead of sourcing them every time helps organizations cut costs by up to 55%.

  4. Stronger employer brand: The Talent Pool can help to strengthen the employer brand by providing a positive candidate experience even if they were not selected for a job opening.

  5. Re-engage past candidates: Recruiters can also re-engage past candidates who were not selected for a job opening but were promising. This can be done by sending them emails, messages, or phone calls, asking if they are still interested in working for the company.
Note: In order to send bulk emails, a candidate's profile has to be added to a Job card.
